Emily Lantiegne
Emily Lantiegne specializes in environmental management and compliance. She serves as an environmental consultant for the Maple Harvest wind project, bringing expertise in New York State compliance and on-site environmental management. She was previously the lead Environmental Manager for a 117 MW wind farm in western New York and carries valuable knowledge of state regulations as well as construction best practices.
Emily is a lifelong Tully resident, which brings a local perspective to the unique project location, as well as a passion to develop the project with the community’s best interests in mind.
Emily has a BS in Energy Resource Management from the University of Wyoming and holds multiple environmental certifications.
Lindsay Deane-Mayer
Lindsay Deane-Mayer leads the development of the Maple Harvest Wind project. Working with the Maple Harvest team, Lindsay engages with landowners, towns, consultants, stakeholders, and permitting agencies to design and permit the project. Lindsay has been developing wind projects for over 15 years, with a focus on the Northeast.
Prior to Palmer, Lindsay was a Teach for America Corps Member in Oakland, California, where she taught secondary school level mathematics. Lindsay has a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College where she Double Majored in Environmental Studies and Engineering modified with Studio Art. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education from Alliant International University.
Corey Shellhammer
Corey Shellhammer is an independent land consultant that focuses on acquisitions for energy exploration and development. Corey coordinates with landowners, attorneys, and developers to secure site locations for energy development installations. His lease and contract experience dates to 2006, where his energy career began in the oil and gas industry before transitioning to renewable energy services in 2018. Prior to the energy profession, Corey attended Cortland State University of New York for a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Geography, while working in Human Services.
Sumul Shah
Sumul Shah oversees the design, engineering and pre-construction teams for the Maple Harvest Wind project. Sumul has been in the energy industry for 25 years, managing the installation of hundreds of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
Prior to joining Palmer, Sumul founded several companies including Solaya Energy, a renewable energy development company, and Lumus Construction, a general construction company. In 2009, President Obama awarded Sumul the “Small Business Person of the Year” for Massachusetts and 1st Runner Up nationally.
Sumul has a BS in Civil Engineering from Brown University and an MS in Construction Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was a Schoettler Fellow.
Scott Kaplan
Scott Kaplan supports the Maple Harvest Wind Project in Onondaga County with a focus on drafting and managing landowner agreements. He works closely with land agents and property owners to ensure fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial arrangements that enable the successful development of renewable energy infrastructure. Scott brings experience in clean energy project development and contract negotiations, helping advance initiatives that contribute to New York’s long-term sustainability goals.
Millie Paladino
Millie Paladino is a Renewable Project Manager at Palmer. She plays a key role in advancing wind and renewable energy initiatives by conducting GIS analysis and spatial modeling to guide project development. She also creates and refines schematic civil designs for wind projects, including turbine pads, access roads, and transmission layouts. Millie delivers detailed maps that communicate project designs to landowners, environmental consultants, and internal project teams.
Prior to Palmer, Millie was a nationally-ranked top 10 professional athlete with New Balance and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Providence College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Geodesign, Sustainable Urban Planning and Design, at Penn State University.
